The Retirees' Paradise for Retirement in Thailand

One important thing about retirement is that you will realize how much time you have on your hands now that you are no longer working.

You will sometimes find it amazing how your dog at home keeps his sanity after doing absolutely nothing for 5 hours straight. That is why a lot of foreigners consider retirement in Thailand. There are so many nice places to go to in Thailand and all of them are unique and entirely affordable to visit, even with the amounts from a pensioner's paycheck.

To retire in Thailand means that you choose to have all the comforts like home.

The great thing about retiring in Thailand is that you need not necessarily have to spend the same amount of money to pull it off in the usual American retirement State like Florida or Spain, both of which are the retirement country of choice for many people from the west..

Once you have figured out how to retire in Thailand, here are two fantastic places where you as a retiree in Thailand can visit.

1. Safari World, Bangkok, Thailand
This spot is the biggest zoo in the whole of Bangkok. It has a drive though open zoo where the animals roam free and the people inside can get a close look of Thailand animals in the wild. And all it takes for an adult to enter this park is a low 700 Baht. The park also has a fantastic marine park and other animal shows.

2. Wat Arun, Bangkok, Thailand
This is also known as the Temple of the Dawn and it is actually short for Arunratchawararam Ratchaworamahavihara. Enjoy the lights and beauty of Bangkok on top of temple or you can explore the spires imposed you were said to know about. The admission fee for this one is only 30 baht.

If you venture up North to Chiang Rai or Mae Sa, you might also want to visit Wat Rhong Khun or the White Temple. It is a spectacular temple quite unlike any other temple in Thailand or even Asia.  The video below shows you why.

Other people actually prefer to retire in Chiang Mai up north, where there are mountains, waterfalls, and many lovely forested areas and you get to experience very mild winters too.
